ABOUT DIANE AYOTT
The complex paintings and works on paper composed by Diane Ayott show strong evidence of engagement in the contemporary language of abstraction. Layered combinations of markings - dots, dashes, lines, slashes, circles, ovals and loops –contribute to sophisticated, overall spatial patterns and color shifts. Pleasure in the visual is made clear in her work and invites repeated viewing.
